    Role Definition

     

    As the Country MD for Bukito, the incumbent is expected to take full ownership for the business in the country, setting up all operations, building the team, developing the business activities, connecting partners and gaining market leadership. He / she will work seamless with HQ, and be instrumental in building up the local team and instilling the company culture in the country office.

     

    The country MD and team under will work as entrepreneurs and drive the day-to-day business, taking lead on following:

    • Seller Acquisition & Management: build up the sales forces and strategic partnership in acquiring small B sellers to joint Bukito platform, conduct training to sellers to adopt our tools, define incentive mechanism for sellers to influence others to join, and establish service agents for addressing seller enquiry and incubating seller committee
    • Logistics & Supply Chain: establish crossborder (import and product registration) and local (warehouse and delivery) logistics capability through 3PLs, and govern day-to-day SLAs
    • Brand & Marketing: define and position Bukito brand and value proposition in the local market through both offline events and online marketing
    • Strategy & BI: define country roadmap, monitor and benchmark with competition, generate performance matrix
    • Partnership Development: build up various partnership (supply, traffic, logistics, payment, etc.) locally and expand the ecosystem and portfolio of service for sellers
    • People Development: recruiting and building up local team, in line with target operating model as business scale up, instil company culture

    And work closely with HQ team on:

    • Assortment Strategy & Planning: define local specific assortment strategy, and work closely with HQ supply team in end-to-end planning cycle of supply selection, shipping & import, product registration and listing online
    • Product & Technology: work closely with HQ product technology team, in giving local specific business requirement, implementing newly developed tools and gathering end-user feedback back to HQ for continuous enhancement

     

     

    Profile Requirement

    • Proven track record of personal, academic and professional achievements
    • 4-6 years, with relevant working experience in eCommerce, Social Media, Online Marketing, International Trade and Logistics background, with relevant ecosystem partner relationship
    • Past experience in mgmt. consulting firm or internet start-ups will be a plus
    • Ability to lead a 10-15 person team across functions and work in a matrix organization
    • Understanding of related technology is definite advantage
    • Both managerial skills and strong structuring & analytical skills with the ability to set direction and problem solving
    • Entrepreneurial drive, quick learner and the ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
    • Experiences in working in an international environment with colleagues from mixed culture
    • Language: Thai and English fluency in spoken and written, mandarin will be a plus
